My reign as England manager has got off to a very bad start. My captain finished 18th, this was probably down to my bad tactics. I tried to be clever with the formation of the team and it back fired big style.
I will be looking to get back on track next week, that is for sure!

Always here to help!
Thanks for that, I will take all the advice. I need a top 9 in the next one . Will pm english sprinting team before selecting my next team.
One other suggestion. Use the other managers in your nation for their advice and experience with NT in the beginning. There is a learning curve so it won't hurt to ask the opinion of other managers with NT experience about lineups and other things. Being NT manager is fun, especially when you are manager of one of the stronger nations like England. Good luck, you will do fine. :)
I agree, cobble races are difficult. The US always has problems in those races. One thing I did notice Andy was that Morton Whiddon your captain had a pretty low RS at 86. I generally will pass on a rider for the captain position if his race shape is lower than in the 90s.
Cobble races are always a problem. Lady luck has to be on your side!
Don't worry about it Andy. You are doing fine and you will do just fine in the future. I was USA manager for 2 seasons (I'm assistant manager this season) and it wasn't an easy task so don't be so hard on yourself. It's only one race.
